Lindy Borden is a highly experienced travel professional, dedicated mentor, and compassionate community servant who has spent much of her life helping others. As a Business Development Manager and Team Leader with Cruise Brothers, Lindy combines decades of personal travel experience with a genuine passion for guiding new and experienced travel advisors as they build successful businesses of their own.
Lindy discovered Cruise Brothers in 2016 and quickly became a Team Leader because of her extensive travel knowledge, leadership abilities, and commitment to supporting others. She takes great pride in sharing what she has learned, encouraging her agents, and helping them develop the confidence and skills needed to create memorable vacations for their clients.
Travel has been an important part of Lindy’s life since she and her husband, Jay, began exploring the world together in 2000. Since then, they have sailed on more than 100 cruises with a wide variety of cruise lines and visited destinations throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, and beyond. Their experience includes ocean cruises, Viking river cruises, and numerous transatlantic sailings, which remain Lindy’s personal favorite.
Their many years of cruising have earned them distinguished loyalty status with several major cruise lines. Lindy and Jay are Diamond Plus members with Royal Caribbean, Elite members with Celebrity Cruises, Diamond members with MSC Cruises, and Deep Blue Extras members with Virgin Voyages. Their firsthand knowledge of different cruise lines, ships, destinations, accommodations, and onboard experiences allows Lindy to offer valuable insight to both travelers and the agents she mentors.
Beyond travel, service has always been at the heart of Lindy and Jay’s life together. Married for 56 years, they have spent 44 years volunteering in Florida state prisons, ministering to incarcerated individuals and offering encouragement, compassion, and hope. Whether they are supporting someone through ministry, helping an agent grow a business, or assisting a traveler in planning an unforgettable journey, Lindy and Jay are always looking for meaningful ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
